Dr. Kristina Moyet is the owner and lead coach of Small Step BIG Vision LLC. She is a self-trained coach and has supported hundreds of people of all ages throughout her career. She is an experienced facilitator and keynote speaker.
As a member of the Rhode Island community, Dr. Moyet serves as a Board Member for the Gentlemen’s Academy and served as a mentor for the Young Women’s Equity Coalition (YWEC), a program through Rhode Island Community & Justice (RICJ). She is passionate about addressing the pressing issues of social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion to close achievement gaps for underrepresented and marginalized populations.
Dr. Kristina Moyet holds a Doctorate of Education in Higher Education Leadership from Johnson & Wales University (JWU) where she defended her dissertation entitled, The Campus Conscience: Perspectives of Underrepresented Chief Diversity Officers at Predominately White Institutions which focuses on the role, scope, and purpose of chief diversity officers. She earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Rhode Island College and a Certificate of Graduate Studies (C.G.S.) in Nonprofit Leadership. Moyet attended the University of Rhode Island (URI) through the Talent Development (TD) program and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Women’s Studies.
Dr. Moyet currently works full-time for URIs Talent Development program and is an adjunct faculty member at URI and College Unbound.
